I got word that Lacey was coming over for Mommy to babysit for a few hours this evening so I thought I should get out and mow the lawn.
See! I'm really mowing.
Mommy's Little Hero.
Taking a break. Mowing grass is hard work for babies.
Trekking up and down stairs to burn off some nervous energy.
I made it to the top. I'm King of the World!!!
Showing off one of my new faces. Isn't it fabulous.
"Are you proud of me Mr. Scarecrow?"
Mommy handed me a flower to give to Lacey upon her arrival - like they do in Hawaii.
...Tasting it instead...
She loves me...she loves me not...
She loves me! I knew it.
I think I see her!!!
My bride has arrived.
Fighting over her teething ring right off the bat.
She let out a big squeal when I stole it from her.
So...I thought I'd better give it back.
Since it started to get windy, we moved indoors to Luke's Playland. I wasn't too keen on getting girl cooties on my stuff.
Lacey told me she's getting one of these in pink. I can't wait to drag race this summer. It is ON!
...More girl cooties...
While her back was turned, I stole her teething ring again. Don't tell. She thinks I'm an innocent little boy.
Fighting over toys that I never play with...
Brother was a huge hit with Lacey. I, however, have heard all his stories before and it was old hat for me.
"You're not having any more babies, right???" I was not too happy that Mommy was holding and enjoying another baby besides ME.
"Promise me, Woman!"
We took a quick snack break. Notice how calm Lacey is during feedings.
And...this is me during feedings...
After getting my little behind busted for playing with the trashcan (which is a big NO Touch, and I know better), I noticed someone was sitting in MY seat.
Ya think if I pull this string, she'll fall out like a parachute?
She was fascinated by my Old Navy socks. That's right babe, I got gear.
She was fascinated by the handiwork her Daddy did building our new bannister!
We went back downstairs to Luke's Playland to enjoy some more toys. This is the one toy we really liked to play with together (for a few minutes anyway).
Don't tell Mom. I'm on the lam.
Just a few videos showing one of the few smiles you'll see from me during this post. I enjoyed giggling and dancing at Lacey thru the bars.
Then I entertained her with my favorite toy: the basket liner.
Notice how Lacey is entralled that I can scream and run head first with a basket liner on my head. My parents must be so proud.
"Mommy, did you tell her that's a No Touch!" Don't worry Brandi, it wasn't on.
Playing (wrestling) over my Alphabet Train. I tried to show her how to do her ABC's but she insisted on trying to drive it!
GEESH! Girls.
After a quick bath, we met back at the Love Seat for our official picture from the visit. Notice where my finger is, and the look on Lacey's face.
Think I can talk her into a Third Date, folks?
