Watch Me Grow

A Horse, A Spoon, A Star

Mammaw brought me a blast from the past. This was a horse that was handmade for Brother when he was my age.

It's a perfect fit if you stick your tongue out a certain way.

"I know what I'm doing, Mommy!"

Close your eyes, Granny!
No hands!!! No hands!!!

Jazzed about my ball bopper toy! What a face!

It gives hours...well...MINUTES...of entertainment.

Totally obsessed with how the ball goes down the tube.

Since I'm still little, I have to stand up so I can get the full effect.

Welcome To Luke's Playland...formerly known as The Saunders Family Room.

It was time for a snack so we headed to my cabinet. I know exactly where everything is in there. Mommy let me pick out which one I wanted.

Another daredevil action shot.

Let's do some sweeping around this place!

I sort of lost my pants I was sweeping so hard! They were just holding me back.

Cleaning up a bit after all this remodeling we've had done!

Sweeping is hard work. I need a break. No wonder Mommy has Daddy be in charge of all sweeping activities.

Maybe my shorts need cleaned up.

I really am a big help around this house!

I caught Mommy enjoying some ice cream so I had to have just a bite.

I'm just now starting to try to use a spoon - I still prefer the fork. You can do more damage with a fork. Spoons are for GIRLS!!!

That hits the spot!

Check out my pinkie toe. That means I'm really concentrating hard.

I have cute toes. Ice cream makes them even cuter!

Uh-oh...did I do that?

Couldn't have been me. Maybe Mommy spilled it on me.

She's sneaky like that, ya know.

Giving my sign of approval. Two hands UP!

"I wonder what would happen if...."

"Who knew?!"

"Did I do that?"

The mess is well worth it.

But that just means a longer bath for dear baby Luke!

"Yes, I know you can see my ribs. I'm eating ice cream to try and fatten up! What more do you guys want???!"

Just call me Mighty Mouse!

Practicing my singing skills.

Listen to me sing Twinkle Twinkle - my favorite song in the whole world.

How'd I do? (and...Mommy says I look like Daddy here - a very rare occurance, huh!)

Check out my Spongebob bathmat. I can pick out who Spongebob and Patrick are as well as blue flower and yellow flower. But...I'd rather DIE than actually SAY them.

Reading my Nemo color find book before exiting the tub.

Peace Out Babies!

Ok, Luke's Mommy,
He just went to sleep. He spent his evening swinging, climbing steps, and throwing a ball. He said blue, though it sounded more like "boo", and ate his weight in yogurt and peaches. Forget about real food; he's not interested. Luke's a huge fan of the song, "Hi, my name is Joe". He signed "more, more". I sang until I was horse. Luke isn't picky about quality; he's a quantity kind of guy. Anyway, you must ignore the tomato stains on his Backyardigans t-shirt. He discovered that tomatoes don't like to be squeezed! He's a riot, that one is!! Thanks, once again, for the heir and spare! I'm off to play with the tween and then collapse from exhaustion. Love always, Mim

You're a star Luke. Maybe you can do the vocals in Jadon's band. Such musical boys we have. Becky will be so proud!!!
