Watch Me Grow

A Swing, A Piano, and A Strawberry Yogurt

The parents ran off to Pittsburgh for the evening, but I got the better end of the deal - an overnight adventure at Mim and Poppie's.

See the new swing they got for me!

It's like I'm at Kings Island!

It doesn't look like it...but I really love this swing!

Mim tried to take me out and I fussed until she put me back in. She's a softie.

And, look what I can finally do....REACH the doorknob - AND turn it.

"Is that a cat?"

"Ok - look. Now that I can open the door you're gonna have to get an electric fence to keep me in."

See the pretty ducks in the backyard! If the weather was just a tad bit warmer, I'd be out there terrorizing them.

But instead, I'll hang out in here with the dog food bowl.

Mim thought the dog bowl was empty but the detective that I am, I was able to find a small speck of dog food. It was quite tasty - tasted like my Puffs.

"Is the pool open yet, Mim?"

Jodie's herding me to make sure I don't get out of line.

"Would I do that?"

I think Jodie told on me.

I thought it was time to learn to read, so we practiced with my favorite Belly Button book they got for me.

Showing Mim all the flaps in the book.

Brother doing what he does best...Playing the Wii.

Then it was snack time. Yogurt is always a hit. If I'm ever on Survivor...I'm taking a case of it with me. You all know what Mommy's survivor item is, don't you...Nail Clippers! Right, Miss Sheri?

Keeping my eye on Lollie the Devil Cat. This cat is seriously 100 years old and likes to swat and hiss. It's how she keeps her youth I guess. I might have to start trying that!

I can even make strawberry yogurt look good.

Practicing my ball skills.

"HE SHOOTS...HE SCORES!!!"

"Are you ready to be amazed again?" The fans cry out for more!

I located a new activity - playing the piano!

"No, Mim - you're wrong! It's not annoying...I do it at church all the time. Everyone says its cute. Mommy doesn't want to pull her hair out or anything."

"Seriously...the fans love it!"

Oddly, Lollie the Devil Cat was NOT amused.

Ok Lollie! You have to have an ear for this type of classical music.

I know! I'm gifted! If only I could reach the foot pedals.

Ok kids - gotta run - I've got some teeth I'm working on so I'll wave Bye-Bye for now.

See ya later - Alligator!

Mister Luke,
Thanks for the million and one laughs. My life is so rich because of you and your brother. Thanks to your parents for providing my grandboys. Little boys are surprisingly delightful. I can't wait to see what you do next. Love you like MAD, always your Mim

Well Luke, I think Becky may have a piano player on her hands. You are such a doll!
